MEDIATION

EQUIROCK · CERTIFIED MEDIATION · GENEVA

From conflict to

common ground

Mediation goes beyond what the law can offer. It gives you back control, dignity, and the space to be truly heard —

guided by someone who understands both the legal framework and the human reality.

WHAT IS MEDIATION

A voluntary, confidential process — guided by a neutral third party.

Mediation helps people in conflict communicate, understand each other, and reach mutually agreed solutions. It avoids the cost, delay, and adversarial nature of court proceedings.

  • Voluntary & confidential — nothing leaves the room without your consent
  • Faster than court — most cases resolve in a few sessions, not months or years
  • You stay in control — no judge decides for you, you shape the outcome together

70% - 80%

of mediations result in an agreement satisfactory to all parties

Significantly more affordable than court proceedings — financial support may be available in the canton of Geneva

AREAS OF MEDIATION

Where can I help

Business Mediation

For disputes between companies, partners, or suppliers — such as breached contracts, partnership breakdowns, or commercial conflicts.

For tensions within the workplace, between colleagues, teams, or with management. Whether it’s communication breakdown, working conditions, or something more serious like harassment or discrimination.

For conflicts within the family. Separation or divorce, arrangements around children including custody and visiting rights, parent and adolescent conflicts, inheritance disputes, or conflicts around a family business.

For conflicts with neighbours or within a community. Noise, boundaries, shared spaces, or other disputes that affect your daily life.

For those who want to prevent conflict rather than resolve it. Guidance during a new collaboration, support ahead of a difficult conversation, or help structuring an important decision

“Mediation does not have to wait for a full-blown conflict. Whether tensions are just emerging or a difficult conversation is coming up, mediation can help prevent situations from escalating further.”

HOW IT WORKS

1

Free first call

You describe your situation and together we assess whether mediation is the right path forward.

2

Individual session

Depending on your situation, I might meet each party separately to understand their needs and concerns in confidence.

3

Joint mediation

Structured sessions with all parties involved. In person, online or at an external location. One session or several, with breakout sessions if needed.

4

A shared outcome

When an agreement is reached, it is put in writing. Even when full or partial agreement is not possible, mediation often helps to ease the relationship.

“The goal isn’t to win the argument — it’s to find the door you can both walk through.”
